About Papqle
Draft, pending legal review. Last updated 5 November 2026.
Papqle is Bangladesh's citizen-led healthcare transparency and accountability platform. Patients and caregivers share their experiences of doctors, hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres, so others can choose care with better information and providers can see where to improve. Papqle is a social enterprise and its own legal entity.
Why papqle?
Patient voices count
Your experience helps other patients choose a doctor or hospital.
Proof carries weight
Reviews with proof count 3×. Proof is never shown publicly.
Fair scoring
No one can pay for a better rating or a higher place.
A healthier Bangladesh
Shared experiences become evidence that helps care improve.
Why Papqle exists
Patients have little reliable information when they choose a doctor or hospital, and their experiences rarely reach the people who could improve care. There has been no independent, citizen-centred way to evaluate care.
How change happens
- Patients share what happened to them.
- Those experiences become reliable public information.
- People make better-informed choices.
- Providers compete on the quality of care.
- This helps care improve.
What we stand for
- Independence: no provider can buy a better rating.
- Transparency: anyone can see how ratings are calculated.
- Fairness: providers can reply to reviews and dispute them.
- Evidence: reviews whose proof has been checked count more than reviews without.
- Privacy: patients' identities stay protected, and proof is never shown publicly.
- Public interest: patient welfare comes before commercial interests.
Evidence for better health policy
Over time, the experiences shared on Papqle become evidence that can inform health policy, regulation and quality improvement. We plan to publish an annual summary of what we learn.
